Founders
Over twenty years ago Dajana Coulon and Marlyn Ortiz met in Berlin, Germany while Marlyn was on tour with a show called De La Guarda and a life long friendship blossomed. Their love for dance and fitness became a shared passion. They always dreamed of partnering one day and creating a new and different Dance & Fitness studio experience.
Marlyn's expertise in Dance and Fitness, coupled with Dajana’s success opening and managing fitness studios became the foundation for M.O. Dance and Fitness Studio.
As a boutique studio, we prioritize creating a sense of belonging and connection with our clients and welcome all levels of dance and fitness. We hope you find your community here in our studio in North Hollywood, Los Angeles.
Marlyn.
Marlyn’s skills and talent have taken her across the world as a dancer, aerialist, choreographer, and fitness professional.
Marlyn’s credits include world tours with Madonna, Taylor Swift, Black Eye Peas, Usher, JLo, Britney Spears and Mariah Carey. She has appeared in Broadway and off-Broadway productions including Disney’s production of Tarzan, De La Guarda, and Fuerza Bruta. Marlyn also choreographed John Leguizamo in his one man Broadway show, Ghetto Klown and Al Pacino in Standup Guys.
Marlyn has appeared in various commercials, print campaigns, and workout videos such as Insanity, Brazilian Butt Lift and T25, whilst also working as Madonna's personal trainer.
Dajana.
Born and raised in East Berlin, Germany. Her early life in the heart of Europe instilled in her a strong work ethic and a curiosity for the world beyond.
Armed with a degree in business management and sales, Dajana set out to explore the globe. She lived in diverse places such as Tel Aviv, Israel, and Korea, immersing herself in different cultures and broadening her horizons. Her time in New York City added a touch of cosmopolitan flair to her global adventures.
In the bustling city of Los Angeles, Dajana’s entrepreneurial spirit flourished as she opened and successfully managed multiple yoga studios. She started a small business consulting company, where she channeled her expertise to help aspiring entrepreneurs achieve their dreams.
